Situated in northeast Hebei Province, 220 kilometers from Beijing, Chengde covers an area of 39548 square kilometers. The school was set up in 1950, which lies east of the famous Summer Mountain Resort. It’s one of the 24 key schools in Hebei province. In 1998, the school put up another single as “ The Third High School of Hebei Province”.In 2007, it become an exemplary school. The school covers an area of 60 mu met with more than 27000 ‘square meters’ building area. It has beautiful surroundings with trees, lawns and gardens in it as well as high standard modern facilities, including two teaching buildings, a lab building, an administration building and a dormitory building.
At present, there are 51 teaching classes with more than 3200 students .The school is proud of its excellent faculty.
