Brief Introduction to School in Gaomi

This School lies in Gaomi city, Shandong Province. It is between the famous international kite capital Weifang and the beautiful seaside city Qingdao. Here the climate is pleasant and the traffic is convenient. It is easy to go to Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, Qingdao and many other cities by train or by plane.

 School Employment Contract

Party A:  Gaomi School
Party B:                           
 The above two Parties have reached the following agreements:
I. The Period of Employment
 Party B will work in the School as an oral English teacher for one school term (From              to                    )
II. The Requirements of Part A
   Party A will provide Party B the following conditions:
1. Party A will be responsible for getting Party B’s residence permit, work permit to make sure he works in China legally.
2. Party A has the right to arrange or change Party B's work during the time Party B works in the school.
3. Party A will pay Party B a monthly salary    Yuan (RMB) which begins from the working day of the contract expires. The salary for Party B will be paid on the 30th day every month.
4. Asking for a leave must be consented by the leader who is in charge and can't last over 3 days. Party A should deduct 3 days' salary if Party B leaves his/her post one day without permission. Party A has the right to terminate the contract if it is very serious.
5. Party A will provide Party B the use of a furnished apartment with one bedroom, kitchen, living room and toilet, and the necessary living equipment such as a TV set, refrigerator, computer, telephone, electrical shower, air conditioner, gas stove, fume extractor, washing machine, furniture, cooking utensils, hygienic tools, dinner set, Simmons bed, wardrobe, bedside cupboard, double and single sofas, teapot, cup, bowls, cutting tool, mop, pail, articles for using on the bed (bedspread, blanket, quilt, pillow) etc. Party B should pay the fee of the phone.
III. The Requirements of Part B
 1. Party B should work 5 days per week and . Saturday and Sunday are days off.
 2. Party B should have 15-18 spoken English lessons for the students every week.
 3. Party B should organize the English corner activities for all the English teachers once a week and should instruct extracurricular activities for the students twice a week.
 4. Party B should bear all the traveling expenses and the safety himself/herself. If the travel is arranged by school, Party A will bear it.
 5. Party B must have a medical certificate, provided by Gaomi People's Hospital if he/she asks for a sick leave. Party A will deduct his/her salary in one third of each day's salary. Party A has the right to cancel the contract if Party B cannot resume normal work after 30 consecutive days' sick leave.
 6. Party B is free in the city but must go back home on time every day for guaranteeing safety. Otherwise Party B should be responsible for himself/herself when he/she goes out to other places without the permission of the leader in charge. Whenever he/she wants to go out of the city, he/she should ask for a leave and get the permission.
IV. Holidays
 During the time Party B works for Party A, the former will enjoy Chinese public holidays, such as Labor day, Chinese National day and spring festival. Each of them, there are 7 days to relax, plus one day off for Christmas. But Party B takes sole responsibilities upon himself/herself for any incident or accident while away from the school on holidays.
V. Contract Probation Period
 1. Party B's probation period is 30 days. Party A has the right to cancel the contract if Party B cannot qualify the tasks in the contract for healthy reasons or specialized subject level.
 2. If either of the two parties wants to end the contract, it must be informed to the other side before three weeks. Either of the two parties cannot end and alter the articles, the agreement or the date in the contract.
IV. Dismissal
   Party A has the right to immediately dismiss Party B by providing such reasonable and adequate grounds as violating Chinese laws or school regulations.
V. Resignation
 During the time Party B works for Party A, if the former has appropriate reasons to resign, he/she must hand in a written report to Party A. This must be submitted 30 days prior to leaving the post.
VI. Termination of the contract
 Either Party may terminate the contract during the contract term, but should provide the other Party 30 days prior written notice.
 VII. This contract has three copies, one for each Party concerned and the other to keep on file.
VIII. This contract is effective on the day of execution by both Parties.
